Yes, you read that right.

You shouldn’t pivot in your business.

This might cause controversy with so many people wanting to talk about pivots in their business and how the pivot was so successful. Yes, a pivot may be desperately needed and may be exactly what your business needs at that point in time.

But fundamentally pivots are slow and only serves to show us that the model, systems, operations, marketing, and other avenues of the business were fundamentally wrong, if a pivot is needed in the first place.
